Once Ridvan’s Rangers contract finishes I suspect his career will be effectively over

Probably go to a new club and play thirty games a season

From the paper that should not be quoted ;

Fears are growing that full-back Ridvan Yilmaz is set to be out of action for months after being carried off on a stretcher during a bruising Champions League defeat to Dynamo Kyiv.

Record Sport understands the Turkish international had to postpone a scan on his damaged thigh because of the extent of the swelling. And that has left the Ibrox medical team concerned that the injury could be worse than first feared - with the potential for it to keep him sidelined until some time in the autumn.

The manager is partly to blame here, he's overused a player who is prone to injury. This is not a surprise.

Folk are just putting a negative spin on everything.  In a big game, you play your best left back.

Hes not playing Cerny or Danilo because he says they are not conditioned yet and sports science advise him not to. But he has used a guy who has spent more time injured than he has fit in every minute until he got injured. He could have given him a few minutes off v Motherwell bringing on Davies or Jefte. It doesnt add up. Its not a negative spin at all.

It does add up.  Ridvan was fully match fit (Cerny and Danilo weren't).  Blaming the manager for Ridvan's injury is silly and pointless.

I'm not going to say what I really think about Ridvan Yilmaz, but he's just another player we've paid to spend more time on the treatment table than on the pitch. He's the new Kemar Roofe without Roofe's contribution.

If the likes of Davies, Matondo, Dowell, Lowry, Hagi, Cantwell, Wright and Igmane were to drop off the face of the earch tomorrow, our squad would be none the weaker.

Wouldn't much weaken our bench either.....

Rumours rife that we'll announce our new CEO tomorrow - Andrew McKinlay from Hearrs.

2 questions;

1. Anyone checked his socials?

2. Will he smuggle Shankland in his suitcase?
