Tavernier & Goldson leaving is one thing, replacing them another. 
Sterling may be Tav’s replacement but can he stay injury free? If not who plays RB?

Goldson going leaves us short of CB’s in my opinion. We’ve only got injury prone Souttar, Davies who’s being linked with EFL championship clubs & could also leave and 36 year old Balogun

These rumours have been flying about various sites for a few days.  I tend to take them all with a (large) pinch of salt, although it's not hard to believe we're trying to move several players on, given Clement admitted that needs to happen before we can bring others in.  

 

Just over a week to go to the CL qualifier deadline.  We'll be a step closer to knowing if we're off to Belgrade or Lublin in a couple of weeks, later today.

That's 3 stories Jackson has had as exclusives over the last few weeks ;

 

1. Butland captain when Tav leaves (before there was confirmed interest in Tav).

2. Directors are all good guys, Bisgrove not so, a big boy done and ran away story about the steel delay and using Hampden just before our absent Chairman made a vague statement.

3. Rangers in for Shankland.

 

Someone more cynical than myself might wonder if someone high up in the club are feeding Mr Jackson with some tit-bits.

Another "report" I read this morning saying the fee for Goldson is £1M and he's taken a huge pay-cut.
