All of these links to players who can play various positions makes me think that we're taking the injury crisis seriously and we're binning the specialists in the squad.

 

If you have a core of 5/6 players who can play 2 or 3 positions then you're far stronger than if you haven't.

 

Case in point being Guardiola's City. It's how he can rinse the same 15/16 players all season - they're all interchangeable. That and the needles, probably.

 

It's encouraging imo. You can see what we're doing with these rumours.

[Al-Riyadiya] Steven Gerrard has reportedly stepped up his plans to take James Tavernier and Connor Goldson to Saudi Arabia. Al-Ettifaq are now said to be preparing their offer for the duo.
