Compare that penalty given to the foul on Armstrong v Hungary being disallowed. It's either incompetence or corruption - I hope the former. He didn't give it initially then was sent to review by VAR and then gave it. My view was that it wasn't a penalty as it was more Kane kicking the defender than the other way around but the defender's foot was up with studs showing, which Is presumably why the ref gave it. England were really good in the first half and came very close to scoring about three times twice by Foden and once by Kane. I fear, though, that Kane is England’s Ronaldo. The Dutch came into the match in the second half but no great shakes.
