I just wonder how many knighthoods will be awarded to the England lads if they win the tournament

Sir Waistcoat, Sir ‘arry, Sir Dude and whoever else scores in the Final.

They’ll get there. Nothing to beat. As for the final itself, Spain might be a bit knackered after seeing off Germany and Portugal so it’s most likely coming home.

England’s name might be on the trophy when they lifted the Jules Rimet back in 66 a Labour government was in power old Harold Wilson.

France seem to have 2-3 sitters per game.

Their xG is over 8, which is only bettered by Spain and Germany.

They just need to take their chances.

Two very good matches yesterday, even the 0-0. Could have been 3-3.

Portugal a bit unlucky, likewise Germany but it wouldn’t have been right if Spain had lost.

Portugal must drop Ronaldo. I like Vitinha. Perpetual motion. Proves you don’t have to be a massive bloke to win the ball and take it on.

Watching Ronaldo he’s past his sell by date at this level you’d think someone in the team would say fuck off I’m taking this free kick or penalty I know the comparisons like honey and cats shite but it’s like Tave taking all our free kicks penalties and his cannonball corners.

The Swiss aren’t very good. Offer nothing up front. Let’s face it, not only could they not beat Scotland, they made Scotland look quite good.

If England had a Rooney or a Gascoigne, they’d be two up by now.

I expect England to play much better against Spain in the final.
