Superb player! We never replaced him - he had pace, could beat a man and could cross the ball. He was totally underrated.

 

Just a pity we didn't have a Boyd type player to get on the end of those crosses. :box:

 

If we had a Hateley type player to heeder McCanns crosses in we'd have won the CL. OK, maybe not won it but we'd have gotten to the final at least. OK, maybe not the final but we'd have done better than we did.
