Birmingham bid for Rangers striker Boyd

Recommended Posts

Has Boyd not worked harder and shown a lot more this season? I may not see the games live but from what Ive seen and read he has.

Do I think WS is wrong? Yes basically. Why should we be playing 1 up front against diddy teams or at home. We have the players to attack teams, do we lack the self belief?

It isnt necessarily one up front though - the much mooted 4-5-1 is in actuality a 4-3-3 when you have Naismith and Burke coming in off the wings.

I wish I could name the game, but I remember him hitting 3 fresh air shots in 1 game. Only goal I saw lately was Falkirk away when he got the 93rd min tap in.

Bar that the last was that Penalty miss last saturday ;)

Maybe that was a tap in but did you watch the whole game ? Because if you had you would have notice Boyd did more in 5 minutes than Cousin did in 85 mins (or however long he was on for) !

Boyd is a better finisher than Cousin, he puts himself about more than Cousin, Cousin's touch is better but Boyd seems to be working on that - I think Boyd would make a better starter than Cousin to be honest, especially with the disinterest that Cousin has and given he seems to want away.

if hes not getting a game whats the point in keeping him??? he is just another bench player picking up a wage packet for doing nothing. If Walter doesnt play him he should sell him and get a striker in that he thinks will do the job.

You need quality players for filling out the squad though. Can't have a first XI and no back up. For the modest wage Boyd will be on in comparison to the huge pay packet another journey man foreigner will get for being back up his worth it.

In fact I can't understand your point at all.

Would you punt Hemdani who's hardly started a SPL game?

Hemdani is useful in the big games, Boyd on other hand?

Hemdani is useful in the big games, how many goals does he score though? Of anyone in our squad who is more likely to get a goal?

Are you serious? How many goals does Hemdani score? He's not a striker or even an attacking player. Let's sell Hutton then cause he doesn't score much either.

I made the point wrongly. Hemdani I think should start every week in an ideal world. I think Boyd should too though. one of the euoropean games we needed we needed a goal with 20 mins to go, Boyd on the bench and he wasnt brought on. Why ? I was screaming at the tv for 10 mins beforehand.

What has Boyd done wrong apart from score goals, work harder at his game and improve as a player?
