Gazza_8 233
If the season finished on Saturday there then no way would I give Thomson the POTY award. He's played well but Hutton has been awesome all season. Saying that, Thomson has been improving with every game so maybe come the end od the season he'll be a worthy winner of the award.
Frankie 8,696
I was talking in terms of voting at the end of the season. If Thomson were to keep up his recent performances then he'd be alongside Hutton and Cuellar for any awards IMO. In the last few months he's been superb and deserves a lot of credit for the way he's gone about his business in the face of a fair bit of criticism at times from many fans. He could have let his head go down very easily but he hasn't and while he may not make the kind of killer passes or creative play that others have, his work-rate and commitment during games has been incredible.

I suppose he does the dirty work on the park that goes pretty unoticed by a lot. Ive picked up on it on a few games but still thought he was average at the start. For me the current contenders for POTY at the moment would be Hutton, Weir, McGregor and Cuellar - probably in that order.
Jon 0
Was the same not said about Hemdani though. Does all the dirty work without the glory. It'll still be Hutton for me at the moment

He looks the part on the ball for me and is more of a tidy player rather than doing dirty work. Who knows, if he gets a run in the team until the end of the season then he would end up being a contender aswell.
Jon 0
Aye, but for the first season, first season and a half maybe, with the injuries and everything I remember most on here calling him every name under the sun
