Gazza_8 233
Been about a week now since he died but I feel it's right to start a wee thread offering our condolences. I was at Hampden for the 1991 Cup Final where he scored one of the four goals. RIP.
Guest scotzine
His funeral is today - he was a great player for celtic although his career was blighted by injury he was a major part of turning around motherwell's fortunes and all we can do is think of his wife and 4 young kids. RIP Uncle Phil

PrideAndPassion 0
I have to admit he was a guy i never like playing against us, as he was a great box to box player on his day ... never reached his full potential due to injuries, but was fantastic against us a couple of weeks back when Motherwell should have beaten us at the Brox RIP Phil ... and shame on the SPL for once again proving themselves to be woefully run!

craig 5,199
Indeed - RIP Phil. Shocking to hear it, I was dumbfounded. Puts everything into perspective. Condolences and thoughts most definitely with his family. As said above, never liked seeing him play against us as he had great potential and was a very good box to box midfielder who was cultured.
