Sadly, our Broomloan Drum Collective appear to think themselves above the interests of the club and other supporters. And far too many others seem willing to follow their lead.

Good write up Frankie.

It's not the chants...it's Rangers.

The leftist's sharpest tool is perpetual, terminal offense. As the leftist exists for eternal struggle. Even if all the chants went away tomorrow, there would still be something because they hate what Rangers represent.

When distilled down to a singular component, extra on field excellence, it is the monarchy. This is not about Billy boys or gallows or any of that per say. This is about Rangers and the crown.

Ask yourself this one thing. Which song, chant gets the biggest boos and whistles every game?  Rule, Brittania!

This is only going to get worse. first it will be the chants, then the usage of 'Loyal', then the crest itself, then the colors, then past players, coaches, board members and their associates. This will and can never end for the leftist.

As people fill the governing bodies who are anti-loyalist, who do not view the crown positively, the pressure will increase.

I don't think Ranger's supporters quite grasp the scope of this mindset. Rangers, and the Rangers culture is a microcosm of a world which is viewed as the enemy.

This subject was always going to rear it's ugly head again.

The undeniably facts are that most big clubs (and some smaller ones) in Scotland have an issue with a certain element of their fanbase.

We are no exception and until we can get our own house in order (which we had for a while) we can't say or do anything about other clubs.

I remember writing a piece many moons ago using Northern Ireland fans as an example of how a loud, passionate and proud support could reinvent itself without losing the pride a d passion.

The Blue Order and Union Bears have reintroduced some old classic Rangers songs and the UBs have invented some new classics as well.

But as the article says, if we continue to sing TBB, 50p Flute, Bobby Sands and berate a player who was obviously in distress on the field of play, we continue to give our detractors open goals.

But hey, the "We Are Rangers and We'll Sing What We Want" fans will ensure we will continually be under the spotlight.
