Over the whole game it has to be Ridvan Yilmaz, who showed a commendable commitment and determination throughout.

 

It’s always good to see a player turn his fortunes around like this.

Voted for Silva, involved in both goals and loved how he celebrated them.

Also thought both Ridvan and Sterling were immense.

 

Sterlings movement for the first drew 2 defenders with him leaving room for Lawrence and he ghosted in for the second so just missing out for my MOTM and rather surprised he has had no vote as yet.

I voted for Jack Butland, his frequent saves kept us in the game/tie.

 

However, as JohnMc has alluded, his distribution was erratic. A couple of wayward throw outs caused us difficulty which he resolved. I wonder if he is being coached on his kick-outs, both from hand and ground? The flat trajectory from hand looks like it is being done to aid the forward's purchase on the flick on? When Roofe came on, he showed how a forward can win and hold a ball.

Went for Butland, but Ridvan was close on his heels. The Little Tiger had DiMaria covered for most of the match.

I went for Jack just on his vital saves , I thought Ridvan,john,  Lawrence and Diomande played well , I wasn’t the only one seeing  silva getting some stick from the other Portuguese/Benfecia  players ? , I loved the interview at the end when the reporter was asking Lawrence about the atmosphere 🤣 he was thinking that’s nothing m8 come to Ibrox next week! Some improvements to make but all in all we can beat them next week! 🤜🏼♥️🤍💙
