Gribz 998
I think we touched on commentators before but this thread is like Heroes and Legends. I suppose there is some legendary commentators. I started watching Scotsport and Sportscene as well as listening to the radio in the mid 80s so had Jock Brown, Archie McPherson on the telly with Alastair Alexander and David Begg on the Radio. Archie Oooomph McPherson is certainly legendary for me while the other 3 had good commenting voices. Wasnt a fan of Gerry McNee and the current commentator for Scottish game on Sky Ian Crocker has the worst voice. Down south Martin Tyler is my favourite commentator off all time, pipping Archie. Tyler and Gray were easily the best. But Sky and TNT at the moment are awful with the exception of Super Ally. BBC and ITV are also poor now, John Motson was good but I think Barry Davies was a bit dull although he would be a big improvement now.

Scott7 6,308
Two for the price of one the great Ray Lindwall and the great Fred Trueman. Imagine either hurling a cricket ball at you from twenty yards away.
