[FT] Dumbarton 1 - 4 Rangers (Lundstram 35; Dessers 41; Tavernier 79pen; Wright 89)

Idk if anyone agrees with me but I thought we were decent tbf, just a bit wasteful.

Plenty of chances, better corners too.

I'd make a couple of changes at HT now.

Good stuff.

A reasonable first half but well known issues rear their head again: namely making things difficult for ourselves by missing gilt-edged chances and conceding same at our end. Dreadful conditions though so very glad to be two goals to the good at half-time. More goals, please.

I agree but the same flaws remain. They must be addressed.

His first decent one of the evening... ;)

Yeah it was his first, but it's a class delivery that leads to a goal.

Not been short of opportunities, just failing to covert chances into goals.

Should be 6-1 at halftime but will take 2-0

Ha! Someone noticed that. 😎

That was one-way traffic all along, the goals were bound to come. Should have been more, I would assume the third will kill it and Dumbarton might run out of steam at some point. But it's the cup ...

Nice weather at the foot of the "Fortress of the Britons".

  • Frankie changed the title to Dumbarton 0 - 2 Rangers (Lundstram 35; Dessers 41)

Goldsons missed 2 free headers as well tbf - our centre backs need attacking heading practice man.

Can't remember the last time one of ours got first contact and put it in.
