Sunday's Ligue 1 games produced a plethora of goals as Lyon hit five at home, Bordeaux edged past Toulouse in a seven-goal thriller and Valenciennes hammered Stade Rennes.

 

Champions Lyon had too much going forward for Strasbourg as they sauntered to a 5-0 win.

 

Swedish schemer Kim Kallstrom opened the scoring in the 12th minute before six minutes later the Brazilian Juninho doubled their lead.

 

The was no respite in the second half for Strasbourg as Karim Benzema added a third, leaving Francois Clerc and Kallstrom, from the penalty spot, to complete the rout.

Agreed, the atmosphere will be as loud as ever and Lyon will need to attack as they have to win the game, meaning there is a chance we can nail them on the break.

I am not a confident bear. They were superb against barca, having one cleared off the line and two one on one's with the keeper being saved.

 

They have turned on the style since our first meeting. Maybe it was the wake up call they needed.
