Bit of a strange one as the lad hasn't been playing badly, but I guess Keane wanted to change things around to see what happened or maybe give CG a wake-up call. From what I've seen he's been playing OK but nothing amazing and looks like he could do with trying to come from more crosses to dominate his box a bit more. I know I've been critical of AM at times for how he comes for so many high balls and often has to punch/palm them away, but I'm starting to think I'd rather have it that way than a keeper who's rooted to his line. pete 2,499 Posted December 1, 2007 Share Posted December 1, 2007 I have been really surprised by how McGregor has grown. Yes he can stay on his line and give the defenders the blame. He takes a risk and comes for the ball and the unfortunate thing about that, is that people forget the 100 good punches but remember the 3 blunders. That's the one thing that used to make me bite my nails off whenever Celtic had a corner against us a few years back, Sutton, Hartson, Varga and Balde from corners and Stefan Klos would never come off his line, a great shot stopper but still I used to sh1t myself whenever they had a corner or free-kick.
