will not have as good a diet

Its incredibly important for kids and young professionals to have the correct diet and workout routine. The likes of Lowry and McCausland could easily be put on a high calorie diet to help them develop physically. Maybe they have and they are not following it. Being a professional isn't just about being good at kicking a ball.

I don't know that it's quite as simple as that SBG, can something as simple as a good diet overcome genetics in a short time? I'm sure there's been peer reviewed papers on this, worth a look. I'm of the opinion that what you eat from a baby until you're into your teens will have a far greater effect on you than all of a sudden just having a sports science approved diet.

There's probably plenty of players who prove that it can be done, Ronaldinho, Luis Diaz showed clear signs of malnutrition as youths, but have gone on to succeed.

Calories in Calories out I thought was undeniable? Not sure genetics can can circumvent it but I admit I'm not an expert.

Absolutely. The modern day coke monster seem to think it's just a social thing though, you're not like one of those junkies eh?....

I was in the military from 19 to 43.

Sadly, my prime coke snorting years were occupied. :D

Not that people didn't do drugs in the military.

However, those types were generally caught quickly, imprisoned, and subsequently dishonorably discharged.

I looked at that and never even considered drugs.

You can't outrun a dishonorable.

Too much risk for a 'buzz'.
