Both Bo'ness United and Bo'ness Athletic won their Scottish Cup ties today. What chance a Bo'ness Derby in the next round?

Would be nice

Stranraer equalise with a goal unlikely to be bettered this season. Nonetheless c’mon the black and white. I can always find a reason to pick a side.

Stranraer won in the end but it was good to watch a game were players kept coming forward there was one pass from the Threave right back to left winger that Bobby Charlton would have been proud of

Which of the two clubs is the top club in town?

Bo'ness United are the top club and play in Lowland League. They moved from juniors to amateurs, won EOS League and were promoted to Lowland League in 2020.

Bo'ness Athletic were founded at Linlithgow Thistle but were taken over by Bo'ness United, renamed Bo'ness United Juniors to retain a presence in the juniors.

The committees fell out and Athletic cut all ties with United (other than ground sharing as the ground is owned by a separate entity) and were renamed Bo'ness Athletic. They are now in the Lowland League pyramid structure and 2 leagues below United.

As a Rangers Supporters Club we once sponsored Bo'ness United (and a player) but after negative comments towards our RSC we cut ties with them and now sponsor Athletic and one of their players.

All very complicated.
