Uilleam 5,929
So, our National XI was horsed, fairly readily, 4 goals to nil, by a Dutch side without Sam Lammers - HE was not even on the bench !! Perhaps the country should be grateful for small mercies. Koeman, probably, is keeping him up his sleeve, as a wild card, for the Euro Championships.

In Scotland, we would still be 'nurturing' (or some such rubbish) his talent, and would continue to do so, until he had a full beard, three weans -to different girls, natch- and had developed a prodigious drouth.

That's not England's fault though. And McGinn did say "Channel 3", which is probably a reflection of his IQ.
