Who is currently unemployed? Or are we advocating more financial loses in paying compensation to MB and his staff plus compensation for the new manager and his staff?

Is it fair to say that which ever manager loses the game on Sunday may be looking for a new job come Monday?

If needs must, then yes.

Dunno.  Doubt it.

Still feeling numb after that performance.   I thought there were signs that Beale's side was slowly taking shape, but we've come up against a team that just had too much for us to handle on the night.

Sunday is huge.  There's pressure on both managers and sets of players.

We simply have to make home advantage count.

Keep believing!

Their 3rd goal killed us last night just after we had managed to get a toe-hold in the game. It is criminal to lose a goal so soon after scoring, especially from a set-piece. It looked like whoever was marking De Jong lost him. It had happened a couple of times in first half as well.

We then capitulated to a heavy defeat. PSV deserved their win and hence deserve to progress.

We matched them at Ibrox where a draw was probably a fair result. Last night their midfield and forwards clicked (they didn't at Ibrox) and they looked a very good team.

Whilst victory was always a long shot, the capitulation was the most worrying factor along with more individual errors.

Our midfield being overran meant our defence was exposed and our forward players were strayed of possession for large parts of the game.

Beale needs to be brave with his team selection in Sunday as our best chance of victory is dominating them in midfield and attacking at pace.

Taking off Raskin & replacing him with Lammers didn’t help although he did set up the goal. We were then overrun in MF

A friend of mine sent me this 'snapshot' which purports to compare Rangers and PSV Eindhoven, broadly, in financial terms.

Neother he, nor I, can vouch for the reliability of the figures, but if they are anywhere near accurate, we might raise an eyebrow, or two....

PSV squad value 180m
Rangers 113m

PSV Transfers in - lang 12m, schouten 12m, pepi 12m

Rangers - Dinilo 6.3m, Dessers 5m, lammers 3m, Cifu 1.4m

Rangers Turnover - £86.45m
PSV Turnover - £79.69m

Rangers Wage Bill - £54.5m
PSV Wage Bill - £47m

Rangers Transfer Spend (2022-2023) - £28.5m
PSV Transfer Spend (2022-2023) - £40m

So a team with a smaller wage bill*, that we knocked out twelve months ago, are light years ahead and far superior to us.

*if the figures are true

Yes - you don't need to see wage bills to see that, you just have to watch the game last night.

So they're 'light years ahead and far superior to us' in how their DoF and head coach have used their resources, despite having less resources?

That's ... quite damning, no?
