I was just listening to Davie Edgar on today's Daily Update and he described it differently, and I hadn't heard this take before. We indicated that we wanted to buy him and Bayern immediately activated the buy-back clause that they had built in so effectively we got the difference, which was around £1m. This makes sense and it probably a more realistic take on what happened.
