[FT] Rangers 4 (Lammers 10'; Danilo 78'; Sima 84'; Dowell 90') - 0 Livingston

I think we'll look back at Borna's Rangers career and have a laugh to be fair. The discourse online of him can be hilarious..harsh like but funny.

He essentially can't run or defend but given 5 yards² of space consistently in a game he's decent. Cross and inshallah 🙏 is another way of putting it.

Maybe so, but both had decent games today and both played well offensively and defensively.

Also, Souttar and Balogun looked comfortable and both can bring the ball forward effectively.

If anyone was "short" today it was Raskin - not his usual self.

I really like the way both Balogun and Souttar are prepared to carry the ball out of defence when the opportunity arises.

Btw you're right about Raskin. He cuts a frustrated figure these days and something about the current set up isn't working for him.

I almost think some fans are not happy unless we play the perfect game, IN EVERY GAME. We are a work in progress but 5 new players scored our last 5 goals. Some of the reaction at the start of this season has utterly ridiculous IMO. And some of the reactions today towards Dessers today were bewildering to say the least. Let's give the guy a chance FFS.

T'was ever thus but we of a certain vintage understand this 😉

I keep writing him off and there's a lot about his game that I don't like but every time I do so he finds a way to raise his game and get back in the starting eleven. It suggests a degree of character that isn't immediately obvious. Anyway, good luck to him, he put in a decent shift today.

Haha aye he's bounced back more times than should be possible for a Rangers player. Never known a player drop absolute howlers every season yet come back in and perform well.

Although the howlers are getting more frequent and the good performances less so it has to be said.

Two of our most revered strikers from the last 30 odd years (McCoist and Hately) would never have had successful Rangers careers in this age of instant gratification and over the top analysis.

You can add The Goalie to that list as well. Howlers in his first 4 or 5 games - cost us points and knocked us out of League Cup.
