Well as you’re a member of a RSC you can ask them, or ask your club secretary to ask them, about these issues, but having been a RSC secretary for over 25 years and had many engagements with the RSA I’m pretty sure that getting increased ticket allocations are number 1 priority and always have been.

I didn't deny that - but it's OK for organisations to have a number of priorities and I'm sure Rangers fans safety is high on the list of RSA priorities.

They can only do that if the "club" allow them. Maybe one of the agenda items with their meeting with the board. It appears C1872 have been excluded (like most other investors) from latest share dilusion, sorry distrubution.  Anyway can't really blame them for buying shares from a "3rd party"

Poor C1872. Waiting for the club to ask them to invest, rather than being proactive and going to the club and telling them they've got cash to invest.

I know from personal experience that you have to go to the club when you want to invest money and you can't wait for them to approach you as it won't happen.

C1872 have not said they were prevented from investing. They have just said that the club didn't ask them to invest. The club allowed them to invest last time they said they wanted to. There's no reason to think that they wouldn't this time.

Dave King said that C1872 didn't have the cash to buy some of his shares so why would the club think that they did.

All it would have taken was an email but C1872 wanted to buy from this other party as they did previously.

Don't understand this.

Who did C1872 buy their latest shares from if it want DK? Who else is cashing out at 20p a share? Why didn't someone at the club buy these?

How do we know C1872 haven't approached the club offering to buy shares?

How does the club decide who gets to purchase shares and when? Is there a waiting list?

The current board don't like C1872, and vice versa and won't deal with each other. It's all a bit childish with faults and issues on BOTH sides.

Doesn't take away from the fact the C1872 are well within their rights to buy shares from whomever they wish, especially if its under the current market value (as someone was going to buy them presumably).

My best guess is that it was King that they bought the shares from but that may become clear once the shareholders list on the website has been updated. It hasn't yet.

People at the club wouldn't be that interested in buying them as they would prefer to buy new shares so that their cash was going into the club.

We don't know for sure, but C1872 would be shouting about it if they had offered their cash and the board ignored their offer. The wording of their statement heavily implies that they hadn't contacted the club.

Again we don't know for sure but presumably the club would be happy to issue shares whenever they get a sizable offer from a suitable person. Their priority is getting cash and they're not going to put people on a waiting list.

Agreed, although they aren't on an even footing. C1872 can't expect the club to come running to them to ask for money every time there's a share issue. the have to approach the club, particularly since the last thing we heard was that C1872 didn't have the cash to buy any more of Dave King's shares.

That's a matter of opinion, one which I strongly disagree with. My belief, as a member, is that C1872 should ALWAYS look to buy shares from the club, where possible, so that the club benefits. However I'm not given the opportunity to vote on where they buy their shares from, despite their claims that all decisions are made by the members. The C1872 Board and shadow director decide that themselves.
