We have a lot of dead weight, and a lot of contracts that are due to expire.

This should free up considerable funds to permit new contracts coming in.

I don't know how accurate this is but we are/can have some serious wiggle room in the wage department.

In the example you quoted I'll ignore Kamara as we gave him a raise to sell him. But in the case of Davies and Matondo shows why we shouldn't shop in the top 5 leagues unless we can get a bargain. There are probably Chelsea/Man U/Arsenal/City youngsters flirting wit the first team on 40k + per week.
