we haven't  signed anyone after the window closes, then that's the time to question Wilson and / or the board.

Not sure I agree fully with that. Certainly not if our midfield is dead on its arse at mcDairmid park for the Scottish cup tie at the weekend and we get parped out the cup. If we could have got reinforcements in sooner and given the club a lift on and off the field we may regret it. We got by Aberdeen only

just at the weekend with a bench as weak as I’ve seen one for years.

But it has to be the right players. I'm sure Gio had a list of players that he'd liked and given them to Wislon. Then Gio was removed and Beale may have looked at that list and told Wilson to throw it in the bin, and supplied a list of players he'd like.

There is no guarantee with 1, 2, 3 or 11 new players that we'd defeat Aberdeen, St Johnstone or anyone else for that matter, that's not how football works.

We should have sufficient to defeat St Johnstone as long as we turn up and play to our strengths (new players in squad or not).

I get all that and Beale has done great so far, but we are creaking here. A couple of bodies will make a massive difference.

Equally, the wrong couple of bodies could deplete the transfer fund, tie up salaries for years and contribute nothing to the success of the team. It would be better to sign no one than sign the wrong players out of haste.

We have known who we are after for weeks. I doubt the right bodies is an issue. If it is then it’s just bad recruiting

But clubs aren't going just hand their best players to us just because we're Rangers and our fans demand signings to happen immediately.
