Sorry if you think that but when a player scores then signals to his team mates to follow him to a corner it is not then a spontaneous celebration of the goal, and with VAR such scenes may be of no use.

I went to a "B" team game v leicester where the crowd may only have been a couple of thousand and watched the Leicester team score 6 goals and run to a corner, devoid of fans, each time---not entertaining in any way.

I go to games to see the football and if I am considered on a slope to misery it might be as a result of our play which by the way I hope is better under Beale.

There’s really no need to apologise 😂

Anyone who can't handle their goal celebrations really should think about abstaining. Once you start complaining about people expressing joy you're on a slippery slope to misery.

Aye, but only as long as it isnt against Rangers :D

In my day when one scored a goal it was a quick ruff of the hair and a firm bloody handshake.

As you ran back to the centre circle to get on with the game.

Can you see Willie Rae boogieing at the corner flag while McColl and Woodburn shower him with kisses, compo? Me neither.

I might fall into the "Alf Garnett" syndrome but I am at game to watch football not dancing/gymnastics or whatever these stupid antics are.

Just a thought but have you considered watching the football and then not watching the celebrations?

right now forget about penalties for a minute there seems to be quite a lot of extra time being added would you like to see our wonderful officials do the same here .

Depends. If we’re hanging on to a single goal lead which is nut unusual, the answer is no. If we’re pushing for an equaliser, yes.

The sensible answer, however, is that it must be done to overcome the ridiculous amount of time-wasting that goes n.

i wonder how long some matches might last if the clock was stopped every time a game is halted
