Looks like big brother is going to ban the heading of the football a day before and after a match it’s only a matter of time until it’s completely banned if the idiots get their way

Could understand it more if the balls were as heavy as the old bladders in our day; they had thick laces as well and were heavy enough just kicking never mind heading.

Much as I dislike saying this, if a direct causal link between heading a football and developing dementia is clearly established then it would be callous beyond measure to advocate for retaining heading in the game. Some things are far more important than football.

There will be many many more dementia sufferers out there who have never touched a football never mind headed one.

I don't think a link to this being a direct cause could ever be established.

Any study should really start since synthetic footballs were introduced, circa 1980s anything beforehand will be skewed due to the conditions prevalent at the time.

I don’t understand what that means but I’d be surprised if no link can be established. I need to look into it.
