Club1872, King and Rangers board

Yes, it does is the simple answer.

Their members are getting a raw deal from the decisions of the executive.

The platform that could have been used to put forward legitimate questions of the RIFC board has effectively been rendered not fit for purpose.

To put it bluntly, King is playing a cnuts game.

But that issue is separate to the issue of Rangers board not engaging with fans and not being open to meeting with fan groups.

If Club1872 members are unhappy with the governance of Club1872 they have channels to express that. In fact, they had a vote not so long ago when certain individuals tried to take control of Club1872. The Club1872 members voted for status-quo.

The governance of Club1872 is separate to Club1872 extending an invite to Rangers boards to answer Club1872 memebers (Rangers fans) legitimate concerns.

I can't agree.

RIFC should treat them as they deserve to be treated.

The thing is though, King would welcome such friction/conflict.

King doesn't give a dam about C1872, he is using them for his own ends.

Why? The are a major shareholder in the club, they represent a % of the Rangers fanbase and have as much right as fan media, RSA, Gersnet etc to request that the board meet their members.

Up to the Board whether they entertain any request for any fan group, would suggest Club1872 have put the board in a no-win situation here which was probably their goal.

DK, in good part, will have influenced the C1872 declaration so as to put the RIFC board in a no-win situation, for his own ends.

C1872 A dishonest broker that is ripping the pish out of it's members.

They have put the board in a no win situation, but the board are also responsible to engage with fans.

As for being dishonest with their members, same could be said about the Rangers board. Its up to Club1872 members to decide if they want to continue to contribute- its easy to leave Club1872. Not so easy to stop becoming a Rangers supporter.

As I said in an earlier post, it has quickly become a #fcuking mess ....at all levels.

No-one is currently smelling of roses

AGM should be fun 🙄

Yeah and no credible voice for fans (unless the RSA step up).

That is because C1872 are no longer credible. Their executive decided to go down that path.

Rangers fans and constructive politics don't mix.

It tends to be gullibility or the need for conflict with other Rangers fans (group).

Makes it easy for 3rd parties to take advantage. In this case, Dave King.

If anyone thinks we have learnt lessons from the years around 2012, think again.
