Club1872, King and Rangers board

Amazing what has changed in these enlightened times due to Fans forums/social media/tv coverage etc.

I remember when I first started going to see Rangers with my schoolmates we would go to game, discuss result on way home on Corporation bus, regardless of result and prepare for next home game and sometimes away when we could afford it.

Sometimes the Pink Times or Green Citizen newspapers would have a little say.

Think it started around the Fanzines which were a great platform for fans to get their thoughts out to fellow fans.

I used to love reading Follow Follow.  Also, less regularly, When Saturday Comes, Brian (Nottingham Forest) and King of the Kippax (Man City).

I'm biased, I liked No1 Fanzine but read and enjoyed all Rangers fanzines as they offered something different.

Outwith Rangers, Meadowbank, Hibs had great fanzines and The Chelsea independent was also a good read.
