Robby McCrorie signs new 3 year deal

Recommended Posts

Surprised by this as well and interested.

We should get him out on loan and playing asap.

perhaps the plan is next year for him to number 1 and let Mclaughlan go. Or to retain Greiggs and he is moved up to 2.

I saw a video last night of 40 Greiggs saves. He is simply ridiculous.

Anyway lets get the lad playing. Frankly i would be happy for him to play half the remaining league games this season.

Good news,  hopefully get rid of the awful bottle-merchant McLaughlin in January. McCrorie thrived on the OF atmosphere, McLaughlin had the worst GK performance I have ever seen. Bin him and promote Robbie to number 2. I see a lot of similarities between McCrorie and McGregor in their early career. Now is the time to get him ready for next season as number 1 IF McGregor decides he has had enough.

At the start of this season I was adamant McLaughlin had to be given his chance. Unfortunately, what he did with that chance convinced me he was unlikely to be the one to inherit McGregor's gloves. Now I'd like to see what McCrorie can do.

Whatever route we go down we will need to sign at least one goalkeeper in January or next summer
