RANGERS are delighted to announce goalkeeper Robby McCrorie has signed a new contract at the club until 2025.

Lets see what the boys got. Get him in the team :)

Parts of this concern me, as he's clearly third choice right now, McGregor will retire at the end of this season so does that mean we're not planning to bring in a new no.1? McLaughlin is a good keeper, but is he a Rangers Number 1?

I've not seen enough of him, to be honest.

He did well enough when he started the Old Firm game a couple of years ago.

But he's not played since, so it appears he's not good enough - certainly not to start ahead of McGregor and McLaughlin.

Now we're giving him a new deal, which suggests he's got something about him.

So, is he good enough or not?

(Or, is he just a permanent back-up? That would be a waste of the lad's career.)

Maybe McGregor and McLaughlin will be on their way out at the end of the season and the plan is for McCrorie to be back up to the new keeper.

Either that or we're just trying to guarantee we get a fee for him.

McLaughlin went from number one to not being good enough.  McGregor was finished and is now back on top form.  And then McCrorie gets a new deal and you start to wonder if that pushes McLaughlin out, even though he signed a new deal earlier in the year.

Weird how things changed over the course of September.
