But he's not played since, so it appears he's not good enough - certainly not to start ahead of McGregor and McLaughlin. Now we're giving him a new deal, which suggests he's got something about him. And then McCrorie gets a new deal and you start to wonder if that pushes McLaughlin out, even though he signed a new deal earlier in the year.
