Popular Post blueflag 386
Pleasant wee suprise to see St Mirren beat Celtic today. Curtis Main bullying them in a corner flag for 4 minutes was actually quite fun to see. We need to take that wee bonus into Tynecastle next!

Uilleam 5,929
St Mirren support serenaded the fhilth with "Prince Andrew - he's one of your own, Prince Andrew - he's one of your own......."
Uilleam 5,929
Kerrydale Meltdown @KerryFail · The establishment were never going to let us win today after the pre-match display. Let’s be honest. 1:54 PM · Sep 18, 2022
Nevermind 159
No idea what the Celtic manager was thinking with that line up but I'll take it. It makes their oldfirm victory pointless and shows that their kamikaze football isn't all that. What was interesting was how easily Celtic were controlled by a physical game. The correct use of muscle contained their movement and limited their success.
BEARGER 1,830
From Twitter. Our home game against Celtic last season got a crowd of 6596, today we had a crowd of 6331 despite giving Celtic 1600 less tickets. We had over 1300 more home fans today. I’d say the experiment got off to a huge success.

And it makes our draw at Easter Road more frustrating. But those who said league was over after the last OF game were knee jerking - we have to win the next OF game - but prior to that dont drop silly points on the way.

Yesterdays result is a boost, but it doesn't solve the issues we have. Re. League They tend to repeatedly go on long winning runs (6-8), punctuated by the odd slip-up. We tend to repeatedly go on 3 or 4 match winning runs, before slipping up. For us to have a chance, something has got to change. Between now and the WC, there is an intense schedule with a lot of mentaly draining CL games to come between League business. What yesterday does do though, is that it will show other provincial sides that Celtic can be beaten and it may improve their mental approach to games against them.
