Gonzo79 15,299
One minute we can't afford to sack Gio and the next we can offer a wage comparable to Wolves!?

ascender 352
We've been here before though. The league is such a two horse race that if we don't make the change before the wheels come off, all it takes is a few bad results and the title's lost. We need stability and consistency, but something stinks at the moment and the manager needs to fix it.... Which is something Gerrard seemed unable to do before he left. Which makes it even more bizarre that Gio chose to keep so many of the core squad around.

BEARGER 1,891
Now that Gerrard is out at Aston Villa, hope nobody wishes him to return to us. There will be some.
PoohBear 1,154
I doubt he would want to return, he didn’t look happy at all towards the end.
PoohBear 1,154
And why he took the Villa job I do not know, if ever there was a poisoned chalice it is that club. He must have really wanted to leave to take that turd of a job.
Rousseau 11,567
I'd make a move to bring Jordan Milsom back - if he's leaving Aston Villa alongside SG. And maybe Tom Culshaw.

Board didn’t back him in the transfer market. you can argue about finances and malmo and all the rest of it but that’s how him and his team (including Beale) saw it. No way they come back. Bridge burned IMO

The board wouldnt back the move. think they got that one right Edited October 21, 2022 by RANGERRAB
