There are certainly issues with form and favourites, although that can be said about most managers. We have key areas where there isn't reliable back-up (particularly the wide attackers). Is Tillman now out of the picture?

Arfield displsyed more intent in 45 mins on Wednesday than Tillman has shown all season. He's just too slow and ponderous. He's also weak physically IMO. One major post script from Wednesday was the difference in physicality between Liverpool and us. We were bouncing off their players like wee boys. Even Colak looked feeble against their CBs.

He's not a right winger.

Possibly but it doesn't alter the fact that he needs 5 touches and half a minute to work out what he wants to do.

Yes, he has ability but I would much rather Lowry get a chance as the 10 (obviously not talking about today), rather than Tillman. Bill 13,717
The entire recovery project seems to be balanced on the edge of a knife and right now it’s as likely we’ll go back to pre-Gerrard times as forward from here. And the man charged with steering our course looks like Liz Truss on a bad day.

We are on the same wave length 😁 Mutual Consent by a Thousand Cuts -------------------------- edit Steven Gerrard (less M.Beale) might be avaiable soon If Klopp goes could Beale replace him with SG as his number 2 ? 😁 Edited October 16, 2022 by buster.
