After all, Lawrence is the only one of our supposed attackers (not strikers) who scores goals, 7 games, 502 mins, 4 goals, 1 assist. As opposed to ... Kent (4 games, 438 mins, 1 assist), Wright (5 games, 206 mins, nothing), Sakala (no games), Matondo (4 games, 357 mins, 2 assists). Arfield and Tillman are more like attacking midfielders, before someone asks. After watching how they played, today might have been pitch-perfect for a 3-5-2. It's not a knock on Lawrence alone, it's the team mentality of passing rather than shooting. I think Lawrence has been quite an exciting signing so far, but I doubt he was considering other players confidence when passing from the penalty spot.

DMAA 3,658
I normally dismiss any blaming of refs but those red card decisions were shocking. Lundstram’s in particular, but as stupid and careless as Morelos is, you can’t send him off when it’s his forearm that made contact and with very little force. Exasperating stuff, and although it doesn’t excuse our constant profligacy and lack of quality in the final third it’s ultimately what cost us in the end. If we make the Champions League we could really do with a winger to provide Kent with proper competition who has more end product. Popular Post Gonzo79 15,294
I think GvB would've played for 2-1 even if we'd had eleven on the pitch. It's depressing watching us play for single goal wins against dross.

It's by a bawhair if anything, probably not enough time resolution in the footage to actually determine if it's offside or not. Not worth complaining about anyway.
