I am sick of this to be honest.  Neither were red cards.   We were on top when he sent Lundstrum off.  Both will be overturned.  Collum was gagging to send Morelos off.

The least is said about Collum, the better. If we go by what he whistled before and after the reds, there would have been 3 or 4 more. No consistency. I reckon we`ll appeal Lundstram`s, not sure whether we`ll deem Alfredo`s worthy. (BTW, he looked "in the Bull-mood today", always a bad sign)

 

There was no cohesion to the midfield, Jack at best at 75 % of his former self, shouldn`t have stayed on. We lacked a goalscoring threat from midfield, people who run into spaces like Arfield ... as well as those willing to shoot. Chuck Kent and get someone with goal-instinct on. And for the time being, Davis and Tillman in midfield, plus one destroyer, if need be.

 

If we do anything like we did in the first few games of the season in front of our goal, we`ll get punished time and again. That rubbish must stop. Better teams will tear us a new one with ease. Likewise that totally unnecessary short pass stuff to people covered by one or two players, and who oftentimes do not expect a pass and thus lose the ball. Basic basic stuff really, and so annoying.

It seems contradictory but we offer average sides far too much respect then also appear arrogant on/off the ball when it comes to 1-v-1 contests. It's hard to be overly analytical when the ref was the main issue but we need to up the quality of our play - that much is obvious.

Lundstram wasn't a red, but the Morelos slap to the heid is. A stupid, absolutely unnecessary gesture that was compounded (re.annoyance levels) by his reaction.

Also two of our best players this season in Sands and Tillman are not our players.. yet. If we want to keep them in the summer it will cost us the best part of 8 million.

Looking more at the replay, it does look worse than when I first saw it, Morelos has been really stupid there. It's hard to argue against a red there although a yellow maybe sufficed.

 

The Lundstrum red is a joke.

Said a few weeks ago that this squad isn't going to do as much as we are going to need this season.

On second viewing I think you can justify a red, hit the guy across the head with his forearm. It's another fucking stupid decision from Morelos.
