George Taylor joins board again!

Recommended Posts

There's been chat more times than I can remember about substantial Far East investment but I think that's all it is for the moment at least.

We're lucky to have several investors from that area but I'm not so sure any sort of takeover is imminent. Perhaps if we were regularly reaching the CL but that's still to be proven.

What about non board members with a large shareholding?

The other guy I was thinking about was Stuart Gibson who became involved via George Taylor. Just found an article from 2 years ago where he says he would not be joining the board, things change though.
Wondering if a take over is planned by the far east people in the next few years?

It appears that they take the approach that if you're not on the board then you don't have significant control. King, for example, has been removed from it.

I'd usually take it based on shareholders rather than directors, but I can understand the logic of them doing it this way.

Shareholding directors is ideal. Shareholders pass resolutions that obviously affect how the company is run … but directors run the company.
