Rangers FC Agree Partnership With StatsBomb - StatsBomb | Data Champions

Rangers have signed an agreement with StatsBomb to use its advanced performance data and IQ platform.

The 2022 Europa League finalists and 55 times Scottish Champions have engaged with StatsBomb to enhance their global scouting processes. The move highlights the Club’s ambition to succeed in national and European competitions, with Rangers the first Scottish side to commit to a multi-year deal for StatsBomb’s market-leading dataset.

The Scottish giants will benefit from innovative features captured within StatsBomb’s IQ platform, allowing them to gain insight and perform comparative analysis across multiple leagues and global competitions. StatsBomb data will support a One-Club, multidisciplinary approach and will be utilised within Performance Analysis and Sports Science as well as Scouting.

Alexandre Taylor, Sales Executive, StatsBomb, said:

"We are excited to start working with Rangers FC and helping them achieve future success on the European and domestic stages. We look forward to a successful partnership and supporting the club’s recruitment and scouting departments with our advanced performance data.”

Ross Wilson, Sporting Director, Rangers FC, said:

“We are delighted to engage in this partnership with StatsBomb. Advanced analytics has quickly become a significant part of our process, and we intend to be at the forefront of its use and application here at Rangers.

It’s an exciting time to be associated with this iconic football club, and we welcome StatsBomb’s inclusion into the Rangers family.”
