The xG just shows that Liverpool created better quality chances.

 

Yes, Man City dominated possession, but Liverpool were quite content to allow that (probably one of the reasons why they played Milner instead of Trent) and, as you said, play on the break, which is where the goal came from.

QPR might go up but they’ll never do much more than that.

 

Wolves could make consistent top tens but not this season obviously. A successful Wolves manager might be in the reckoning for a top five vacancy.

Wolves would be a great opportunity for Beale. They have the players that can play his style. They could even back him with more January funds than Villa give Gerrard :D (if he is still there).

 

The fact Beale speaks Portuguese is coincidence I'm sure..
