There is something inherently wrong about some people having to fight for thier lives while others live it up at singing contests and football matches. It doesn't sit right with me. Expand You only need to look at issues like Brexit and Scottish independence to know that once views become entrenched, nothing will budge them. When I see Catalonian, Welsh or Corsican separatists supporting Scottish independence, it doesn't make me think, 'Oh, I was wrong all along'. I think you're underestimating Russian patriotism.
