I agree Boyd has raised his work rate and is putting himself about a bit more, but IMO he is still far off from being good enough. He doesnt beat a defender nor create anything.

 

If Cousin is playing with Darchville then he doesnt have to throw himself about so much as JCD will do the work for him, but Cousin offers more than Boyd.

 

None of our players up front (aside from Darcheville) beat players Gribz.

 

Cousin right now offers more than Boyd from a team contribution standpoint - but Boyd still scores goals.

 

This is all good debate though - because last year Boyd HAD to start as there were no other true options - this year, from this poll, you can see we have about a dozen different permutations.

Would be ok in certain games but no height there at all.

 

Novo Darcheville and Cousin in a 3 man attack would be ok
