Nearly everybody on here wanted shagger to be dropped after Saturday! despite him saving us many times previously & again tonight! it's easy to say drop this player and that player but it really doesn't help, IMO.

It's obvious whatever I am going to say is not going to make much difference to you!.

We have to regroup and go again, we have no option, and we are only a point behind, it's not over by far

The performance was just so galling mate. We had finally gotten to grips with them after taking trouncing after trouncing and we have to suffer that performance.

Add that to the draws at Aberdeen and Ross County, it's obvious the momentum has turned in their favour.

However, as you say the momentum can just as easily turn back in our favour and if it does, we need to be ready to grab it wirh both hands and run with it.

Tonight, the lessons I learned were...

1. McGregor is still a capable keeper and redeemed his reputation big time. Without him we could easily have been six down at HT.

2. Bassey is never a centre back but he is our best left back. Barisic's role is now cover for Bassey.

3. Tavernier's loss of form is getting worse and he badly needs a rest. Zukowski has more experience than Bassey and should be blooded pronto.

4. Balogun made a huge difference when he came on with his pace and aggression. Helander or Balogun but never Bassey.

5. Jack is quite peerless among our midfielders and his partnership with Ramsey could lift us to a new level

6. There is still a role for Steve Davis as backup to Jack. Kamara has gone stale and needs to recharge his batteries. We didn't miss him at all.

7. Three up front and two attacking fullbacks is madness

8. There is very little leadership on the park. It may be harsh but it's time for a change of captain soon.

9. Morelos is still an absolutely essential part of this team.

10. Our manager is going to be under massive scrutiny to prove he can address tonight's clusterphukk.

Whatever Taverniers standard was, it has dropped dramatically. He was really woeful tonight.

Unfair to single him out, we are judging level of woefulness this evening.

We have been poor for a while, before SG left, we seem to have got worse under Gio, but is that understandable with a new manager? I'm not sure.

The way we set up has been worrying since Gio came in for sure, but the rot was there before he came in. However the drop in individual performances by a lot of players is more worrying.

Having said all that we can only hope things start to improve, and quickly.

Unless you have access to a time machine, what's done is done and all that matters now is what happens from here on. There isn't one person at Rangers who isn't aware how badly wrong the entire coaching staff got it tonight and how much pressure is heading their way to address it. I very much doubt you will be seeing the same again ... if you do the GvB will be toast.

Well summed up and agree with you.
