Aribo to return after Nigeria knocked out of AFCON

Caps off a pretty good weekend. They are already seething after McGregor has fractured his cheekbone an against a team manager by Barry Ferguson and Bob Malcolm (who was once released by Ange Postecoglou) as assistant manager, and will likely be out for 2 months. Kyogo will likely be out for about 2 months too. Should have just played that game on the 2nd of January after all.

Looks like Kyogo is out for the season. he averages about 20 games a year so that is in line with expectations.

That's not true. Missed a chunk of the last season's J league when he joined them because they have a calendar year league. This is the first major injury of his career as far as I can see.

On one hand i'm delighted Joe will be back in our matchday squad sooner than perhaps expected, on the other hand I was quite happy for him to be in another continent until the transfer window closes!

It is by no means certain he will be lining up against the bheasts just because he is back from international duty.

I have absolutely no interest in AFCON so have no idea if he played well or not and if that will have any effect on potential bidders this window, but I really hope he stays with us for at least the rest of this season and he can maintain the form level he had with us so far this season. POTY stick-on at this stage.
