That seems to be the case. Whether or not the buy option would be taken up (I'd think not given the financials) remains to be seen but it does appear the loan deal will be happening.

When I said I was confident we'd get a deal or two over the line today I didn't think, for one minute, we'd be bringing in someone like Aaron Ramsey.

Can anyone tell me the last time Ramsay had 3 or 4 good games back to back? Got to be more than 5 years ago surely? I know the guy is/was a talented player "at his best" but that best is very rarely seen from what i recall. Another overpaid plodder taking up a shirt is not what we need to retain our title.
