To be blunt, none of us has the slightest idea what Sands will deliver.

I'm optimistic on Sands but he's a sitting midfielder, in his own words he does "nothing fancy". For me, Kamara is one of the most well-rounded midfielders we've had in a while and is comfortable all over the park.

Sands looks like a centre half playing in front of a back 4 to me. Not saying that's a bad thing, it worked out fine fore the likes of rijkaard and desailly while at Milan. But then that system suited it. Kamara looks far more accustomed to playing midfield in terms of what we need from a midfield in the blood and snotters SPFL.

"Already accepted no, not yet, he is thinking about it and above all he is becoming convinced. Juve are also willing to pay part of the salary, as I wrote before, Rangers reach 2 million."

Kamara is very comfortable on the ball but we could do with a midfielder who can take the game by the scruff of the neck.  Sands doesn't appear to be that type either.

I sometimes think Kamara looks too comfortable. As skilful as he is (and clearly he is a very capable midfielder), he has a tendency to become too passive in some games. I've no basis on which to judge Sands one way or the other and I wouldn't make the mistake of trying to while he's only just dipped his toe in the Ibrox water.
