Scottish football fans' forum It was reported that Celtic fans had been involved in sectarian chanting during Sunday's 3-1 win at Pittodrie and that the SPL were set to act. However, Celtic maintained that was not the case and the SPL have revealed that the match delegate's report praised the travelling fans. advertisement One Hoops supporter was arrested after being picked out by a Celtic steward, but the Parkhead club stress it was an isolated incident of "unacceptable conduct". "Indeed the delegate's report complimented the behaviour of the Celtic fans and Celtic security procedures." Meanwhile, Rangers manager Walter Smith believes Thomas Buffel could make his comeback from injury in three weeks' time. The Belgian midfielder, who was a £2.3million signing from Feyenoord in 2005, has been out with long-term knee problems for most of the year.
