I wonder if the sharks will be heading for the car park at Porkheid yet

Plenty of videos on Twitter of Celtic fans at Parkhead earlier singing the players onto the bus - allowed to what they want once again.

The tactical shift changed the game, for me.

Hagi was a big part of that, but I don't think he has the same influence if he's playing in that first half.

He may have created something out of nothing, but I think the tactics from the outset were wrong - or, we didn't get to grips with their tactics.

Primarily the latter imo. They set up to play their game, and it worked. They just didn’t have the quality to make anything of it. Hagi wouldn’t have had as much impact in the first half because Celtic were better then but the problem was our forward players gave us no relief whatsoever, they totally failed to keep the ball up the park, win free kicks or just do something with it (bar one counter attack run from Kent). That was made it so relentless. Hagi would have done those things a lot better because he has more technical ability and is better at winning free kicks.

Why didn't you watch the game? Were you feart? Surely not.

Aye. I regret to admit I’m in my second infancy. I don’t have the mental resilience to cope. I’ll likely be be same for Pittodrie.

That was a big issue, I agree, which was excerbated by them outnumbering us, drawing us back and isolating our front three.

Hagi may have done better - he's certainly got the ability, but so has Roofe and he struggled.

I think we had an effective tactical shift, with Hagi being the perfect player to fit into that.

A few thoughts.  A very very poor first half performance, looked to my view that we were playing for a draw, bringing them on and soaking up pressure, trusting in our defence.  But our defence (greggs aside) not up to their lofty best this season.  Second half better but still not convinced we deserved the win.  Red card was a red card all day long, Lennon is right to defend his player but I'd hope its a different story in private, I suspect we'll never know.  Bottom line i suspect this could turn out to be a better outcome than another confident 2-0 result.  To come out of a game having played the best they have all season and deserving all three points to have lost to a very sub par rangers side must have a huge psychological hit.  19 points, even if they win all 3 in hands its 10.  If they then win the next 2 OF its 4. They need us to slip up twice now... Next round of fixtures are key now. We have to capitalise on the position an demure it, they might just implode if moral tanks... 55 on its way, I'm starting to feel confident!
