Similarly, I saw Lulu perform, a truly soulful, haunting rendition of, ‘to Sir with Love’ in the Edmiston(Allen Stewart was the compère- circa’71). I witnessed the team return from Hampden with silverware and celebrate with the support in the Edmiston. As a teenage school boy, I witnessed a seriously ill Lex McLean launch into a several minute hilarious rant reference a Po-faced Sellik Chairman.
