Gribz 917
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/6896941.stm Listen to the second link half way down the page. The typical yanks cheer every sentance. I think this is a laughing stock him going over there, LA play infront of about 10,000 every week and FOOTBALL will never be as big over there as it is in europe. Its like saying Shinty will become Scotlands biggest game

Whosthedado 1,703
He's gone out there to make money - nothing else, but wouldn't we all have done the same in his shoes. At the time he made the decision he was out of the Real team and not in the England team. I don't like Beckham, but I can see where he was coming from with this move
pete 2,499
Funny how a mediocre player could make it so big, I guess he was in the right place at the right time and marrying Victoria didn't do him any harm.
Wija 0
Can't agree Gribz... he was stabbed in the back at Real Madrid, and no one came in for him... he was offered security for his family for the rest of there lives.... and more. TBH he has showen great business acumen and I hope he does well. I hope he gets his 100 caps for Engerlund, and I hope he has every success.. The way he has handled himself during the past year - being dumped by McClaren - and being fook in the A by Real. Allot of respect for the way he handled it all.
Gazza_8 233
He definately has matured as he's gotten older. Pity Gazza couldn't have done the same.
