Have they made any signings that are likely to allow them to make a fight of staying up? Or did they manage to poach enough SPL standard players in previous seasons as I know they managed to out-compete some bigger sides in terms of what they could pay for/to players?

They've signed 2 players I think.

Funny you should mention Gretna cause I know a copper who works in Gretna and has an interest in the football club. He says there's massive in-house fighting regarding the managers job. Davie Irons and someone called Mick Wadsworth don't get on but the chain smoking owner (cannae mind his name) isn't sacking Wadsworth because he was appointed by the owner.

I stuck £20 on them to go down this season at 3/1. They'll get pumped every week!

Thought it had been quiet down Gretna way. You thought they'd be looking to bring in a few players to bolster their squad. Could be a long season for Gretna fans.

There down fall could be playing at Fir Park every week when they are use to a ground that holds about 23.

They will probably freeze infront of full houses. I tip Dundee Utd to get away from the bottom 4 this season so it will be between Gretna, St Mirren and then Caley, Motherwell and Falkirk will be above that.
