New Bids In for Naismith and McCulloch????

Recommended Posts

2M or no deal according to Killie. Like I said, there's no way back for the player now because of the way all this has been handled, so it'll be interesting to see what happens.

Killie will accept the highest bid they have for the player at the end of the transfer window. They will not keep an 'unhappy' player.

Wouldn't it be funny if ours is the highest bid and Mr Bain and Mr Murray tell Killie to stick the player up their arse of they come grovalling to us to buy him? Or say, well since no one else has bid, or new offer is £500,000.....:)

The story about Naismith going to the dark side seems to be growing. So, are we really going to miss out on signing the SPL second top scorer and young player of the year, who is a Bear, because we're not big enough to put all the nonsense and personal stuff behind us and just pay the asking price for him?

It could be that SDM didnt think anyone else was interested so Gers withdrew their offer expecting Killie to come back to the table.

Now that it appears the Tims are interested SDM may eat humble pie, offer the 2 mill and hope to get the player - but as soon as you have both OF teams in for him there becomes a bidding war - only people to win in that situation is Killie (and, more than likely, the Tims as they will happily pay more than we will).

I would have thought that, if Naismith is to be played as a striker, that we could get a better striker for 2 mill though.

Again, there is something 'not quite right' about this 'interest' from Craptic. They want to know for sure if SN will 'talk' to them before submitting an offer - surely that is called 'tapping up'.....

Anyway, if he chooses to go to the darkside, then so be it.

Only tapping up if they go behind the club's back - in this instance they are looking for the clubs approval are they not ? They haven't went directly to the player but asked Killie for assurances that Naismith is willing to talk to them. That isnt tapping up I dont think
